NBA world stunned by Kawhi Leonard/Paul George team-up

No. 1 overall pick Zion Williamson made his NBA summer league debut, then left after hurting his knee, then the entire game was postponed by an earthquake — and somehow that wasn’t the biggest story in the NBA Friday night.

The double dose of breaking news came late into the night, with ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reporting that Kawhi Leonard has agreed to sign with the LA Clippers. As if that wasn’t big enough news, just a minute later came the additional report that Paul George will be teaming up with Leonard in Los Angeles after asking for and receiving a trade from the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Not surprisingly, NBA players were stunned by the news.
