Sources: Green agrees to 1-year deal with Jazz

Free-agent forward Jeff Green has agreed to a one-year, $2.5 million deal with the Utah Jazz, league sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Green spent this past season with the Washington Wizards. He appeared in 77 games (44 starts) and saw upticks in points (12.7), rebounds (4.0) and 3-point shooting (34.7%). His field goal percentage on 2-pointers was 58.6, which ranked 19th in the league.

Green was an unrestricted free agent after signing a one-year, $2.4 million deal with the Wizards last summer.

He has been well-traveled since the Boston Celtics picked him fifth overall in the 2007 draft. Washington was the 32-year-old forward’s seventh stop after he previously played for Seattle/Oklahoma City, Boston, Memphis, Cleveland, the LA Clippers and Orlando.
